A container for pattern cards which govern the shedding order of a weaving loom stores the cards in loops and receives an upward flow of air from a fan. Slots for the exit and entry of the pattern cards are inserted in the fixed plate forming part of the top surface. The container provides storage for a long run or length of punched card, without folding it or using hooks. The storage space is kept dust-free by the upward air movement.
