<p>The rucksack can also be used as a hammock by using a fabric which is hemmed at each end to hold two tubes. To form a rucksack, the fabric is folded once and its extremities are joined by fastenings with loops and hooks. A tube is then made by joining the two parts of a slide clasp fastener (3). The flaps in the top and base are closed by slide clasp fasteners (4&7,5&6). These flaps form lateral pockets on the hammock. The rucksack frame is the tubes of the hammock with cross bars and a strap.</p> |
