<p>The loader comprises a cross-shaped mandrel holder (18), in which the ends of the arms carry mandrels (12-15) which carry the work piece from a supply station (10) to a work spindle, from there to a turning station (5), to another working spindle and, finally, to a clearing station (11). The driving of the mandrel holders is performed by direct current motors, which are controlled by a programme control incorporating a position closed loop regulation in relation to the machining time of the lathe. The opening and closing motions of all the mandrels provided on the mandrel holders (18) and the turning station (5) are originated from a hydraulic motor of which the control for the opening of the mandrels depends on a fixed time interval element; the starting of the opening is started by the workpiece itself. For the opening, the time element is activated in response to the machine time of the lathe. The loader travels are digitally controlled.</p> |
