<p>Blocks are provided between frame and pane, to align the latter and allow for tolerances, in conjunction with an edge-retaining profile unit for a pane of glass in a window or door. For holding the pane (11) in position perpendicular to the glazing device, use is also made of these blocks between it and the frame (4,5). The blocks may comprise more than one piece each - esp. a piece (8) on the pane side and a piece (7) on the frame side, the latter pref. having a retaining element for the pane and for the pane edge-retaining profile unit (10); and it can be directly form-locked into the frame profile, pref. with an engaging edge (15). This provides secure retention, without fatigue effects, and the edge-retaining unit can be completely made e.g. of neoprene.</p> |
