<p>The unwinding condition of the tape roll in a tape recorder which can be integrated with other devices (TV, Radio, etc.) is ascertained by using a tape (1) made up from optic fibres layed side by side and held by an auxiliary fixture against the window (5) of the recorder. It is set at one end of the light conducting tape whereas its other end terminates in an opaque window. A light bulb (7) aided by a reflector throws light from the rear of the recorder so that the space occupied by the tape rolls on the respective bobbin -xles (9,10) can be clearly discerned on the opaque window, with the bright section (3) contrasting against the dark ones occupied by the tape roll(s).</p> |
