The adjustable ceiling suspension for moving platforms for carpets consists of an oblong frame or stand (3) with an upper frame to which the runner-rails (2) are fixed. The rails (2) are screwed to transverse struts (1) welded to the U shaped frame (3) which is suspended by means of a bracket (4) fixed to the ceiling by steel pins. Each bracket (4) has a socket (5) welded to a threaded rod (6) supporting the support pipe (7) on the ends (9) of which are clamping shoes (10). The U shaped part (12) of the clamping shoe (10) fits into the U shaped frame (3) which is locked at the required position by means of a tension screw (11).
