The exposure control is for an automatic flash has a colour code slider linked to a slide control (4) on the side of the flash gun and with a perforated plate pushed over the light sensor. The amount of light modulation is related to the film speed and flash type both of which are entered on the slider. The colour code, operating through a series of windows, provides an automatic as well as manual override control. The slide control is made of injection moulded plastic. The automatic control includes a computer calculator with input features including film speed, filter and flash type.
