<p>The system locks a nut in place by means of adhesive contained in a destructable casing in the region of the screw threads. The nut (1) has a bore (2') radial, or tangential, to the tapped hole (4), passing through its wall. The destructable casing containing the adhesive can be inserted in this bore, or alternatively the adhesive can be filled directly into the bore, an outer setting skin (8) forming a seal. As a further alternative, a drop of paint can be used to seal the bore.</p> |
