PURPOSE:The titled nontoxic composition, capable of exhibiting a high synergistic weed control effect on an arrowhead in a paddy field, and comprising herbicides having different weed control activities, e.g. 2,4-dichlorophenyl-3'-carbomethoxy-4'- nitrophenyl ether etc. CONSTITUTION:A herbicidal composition comprising (A) 1pt.wt. 2,4-dichlorophenyl-3'-carbomethoxy-4'-nitrophenyl ether or 2,4,6-trichlorophenyl-3'-carbomethoxy-4'-nitrophenyl ether which is an excellent herbicide for paddy rice having a very high control effect on a barnyard grass which is a grassy weed and most of annual broad-leaved weeds before and after the development with little phytotoxicity to transplanted rice plants and (B) 1/30-1/3pt.wt. ethyl 2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxyacetate which has a very high control effect on annual weeds of paddy rice and some weed control effect on a perennial weed arrowhead. |
