PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous focus controlling from being performed by providing the distance limiting means preferential to automatic focus controlling to the self- timer of an automatic focus control camera. CONSTITUTION:When release operation is performed from a set state, a focus control ring 1 slues left in follow-up to the left travel of a setting member. At the same time, a control member 3 which is sluing left is stopped of its sluing as a pawl member turns right upon de-energizing of an electromagnet 6 controlled by a known automatic focus detecting circuit. Then, its curved part 3b abuts on a cam part 1c and stops the rotation of the focus control ring; in this state, exposure operation takes place. At the operation of the self-timer, a distance limiting means 9 turns so as to abut on the cam part D of the normal focus position in cooperation with the setting of a set lever 8 so that the focus control ring 1 does not slue left any more, whereby the erroneous operation at the self-timer setting is prevented. |
