The wall-mounting assembly, for communications equipment, allows the equipment to be fixed and removed easily. The assembly has a flat fixing bracket (2) bent rearwards on three sides. The bends on the two opposing sides form outward-pointing fixing flaps (5,6) whilst a bent limb on the third side closes the resulting cavity from below. A double hook is formed by two flaps (11) projecting in opposite directions parallel to the bracket from the free end of a cylindrical part roughly in the middle of the bracket. The double hook engages appropriate recesses in the rear of the equipment. Each flap of the hook has a projection or button (12) acting as a snap-action lock.
