PURPOSE:To simplify the transportation and the field assembling of the transformer by a method wherein the transformer is transported being the main body of transformer divided into a cover, a bottom part and a wall face, and a side face cover to constitute the wall face is separated to a transporting cover providing with a specified reinforcing beam and a side face cover to be used for installation. CONSTITUTION:The main body of the transformer being manufactured in single phase unit is constituted being divided into an under part tank 15 to constitute a bottom plate of the trnasformer tank, an upper part tank 16 to constitute an upper cover and a side face cover 17 to cover the side face. During the period of transportation, the side face cover 17 is substituted by a transporting cover 17A being stuck with a reinforcing beam 17C at the side face and protruding at the outer edge, and at the installation time it is exchanged for the regular cover 17 to enlarge the insulation distance. The protruded reinforcing beam is connected to an intermediating metal fitting 19 against the hinge of transporting freight car to support the tank during the transportation. |
