Profiled extruded component edge join - has flat mating surfaces of edge and joining recess at same angle

The joint is formed between the edges of two profiled extruded components, the edge of one being oressed by a cylindrical insert against the groove wall of the other. The outer face of the edge (6) of one comoonent (1), bearing against the inner wall in the groove (8), and this latter wall, are both flat surfaces (12,21,23) facing each other and at the same angle. The two faces on each component can be at right angles to each other, and the insert can be fitted on the line bisecting the angle between them. The groove may be formed by a souare, or rectangular, profiled section.
