<p>PURPOSE:To force the work roll to make contact at two points with the backup roll in order to cause a vertical distortion on the purpose to perform the shape control correspondingly to the heat crown, the horizontally turning round the work roll chock for giving the work roll a horizontal distortion. CONSTITUTION:The heat crown is caused in the work rolls 6, 7, during the hot rolling work because of the heat of the rolled sheet mateial, so that the shape control for the rolled sheet material becomes difficult. In this case, the hydraulic cylinders 17a-17d are actuated to turn round in the horizontal plane the chocks 8, 9, supporting the work rolls 6, 7. Herby, the work rolls 6, 7, are bent in the advancing direction of the rolled sheet material or in the direction opposite to it. And the work rolls 6, 7, make contact at two points with the backup rolls 2, 3, and as a result, the work rolls 6, 7, are forcibly distorted for performing the shape control for the rolled sheet material.</p> |
