The wiper seal arrangement (1) is intended for telescoping (3) covers (2,2') over a slide support track of a machine tool. It comprises a sealing strip (5) in sealing contact with a cover wall and a carrier strip (4) secured to the wall (2). The strip has projections (7) which extend through openings (8) in the wall (2) and are releasably secured. The seal strip (5) has laterally open bores which fit around the projections and permit its insertion from the side so that it is frictionally retained between the strip and the wall. The projection may be hollow and fixed to the wall by a screw or may be a press-fit in the opening.
