PURPOSE:To obtain a cathode having a smooth, dense and stable exterior by depositing a carbonate through a method of electrophoresis employing an electrodeposition solution where carbonate powder such as BaCO3 and nitrocellulose having a specific degree of polymerization and nitration are made suspended in a specific solvent. CONSTITUTION:Nitrocellulose as undermentioned along with carbonate power such as Ba- and Sr-carbonate or Ba-, Sr- and Ca carbonate are made suspended in a mixed solution of 5-20% butyl alcohol and 95-80% butyl acetate by volume ratio to prepare a deposition solution. Then a cathode work piece is immersed into this deposition solution and the above-mentioned carbonate is deposited to the surface of the cathode workpiece through the method of electrophoresis. Hereupon, it is necessary to employ nitrocellulose having a polymerization degree of 5,000-6,000 and a nitration degree of 9.0-10.0. |
