<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a constant voltage characteristic in good condition by a method wherein an auxiliary armature winding for excitation is wound in a prescribed pitch at the position of an electrical angle of lag by the prescribed angle with respect to a main armature winding on the same iron-core as that of the main armature winding. CONSTITUTION:Armature winding conductors are distributed to slots 1-4, 9-12 formed in the pole on one side of the armature winding which has 24 slots and to slots 13-16, 21-24 formed in the pole on the other side, and in addition, the auxiliary armature winding conductors for excitation are inserted into the slots 2, 7 and 14, 19 to arrange the auxiliary armature winding at the position of lag by 60 deg. of the electrical angle with respect to the main armature winding. Whereby a voltage which is large in the ratio of the 3rd higher harmonic component can be obtained in the auxiliary armature winding, so that with this output, the magnetic field is compensated with an increase of the change in load by exciting the magnetic field, and therefore, it is possible to obtain the constant voltage characteristic in good condition.</p> |
