PURPOSE:To improve desulfurizing efficiency amd make the discharging treatment of desulfurization slag easy by using the desulfurizing agent comprising the mixture of the eutectic or semieutectic of calcium carbide, inorganic fluoride and CaO as well as the dust byproduced at the production calcium and carbon. CONSTITUTION:The mixture comprising 60-90% calcium carbide in wt%, 1- 15% inorganic fluoride and CaO and impurities for the remainder is heated to 1,450-1,600 deg.C to make CaC2 into a molten or semimolten state. Next, 40-95wt% dust byproduced at the production of calcium carbide and 5-60wt% carbon are mixed. Here, 30-90pts.wt. the above-described eutectic or semieutectic and 10- 70pts.wt. the above-described mixture are mixed to make the desulfurizing agent for molten iron. |
