A composition for torch gunite of the converter linings consisting of lime, coke and, as fusible addition, the blast-furnace slag comprising calcium oxide, manganese oxide, magnesium oxide, iron, aluminium, silicon oxides and sulphur, or a staurolite composition comprising oxides of magnesium, calcium, potassium, sodium, titanium, zirconium and aluminium, iron and silicon oxides with the following component ration by weight: coke: 20 to 30 per cent; fusible addition: 5 to 10 per cent; lime: balance. |
