摘要

PURPOSE:To prepare a film of superior orientation performance and orientation stability by specifying in a given range the density of a biaxially oriented film constituted of a mixture of a polyoxymethylene homopolymer and a polyoxymethylene copolymer. CONSTITUTION:A film is prepared by biaxially orienting a mixture of a polyoxymethylene homopolymer and a polyoxymethylene copolymer. At that time, the density of said film is set in the range of 1.425g/cm<3>-1.46g/cm<3>. Orientation performance and orientation stability are increased to a large extent by the arrangement, and a biaxially oriented polyoxymethylene film retaining superior characteristics of the polyoxymethylene homopolymer without impairment as far as possible can be obtained.
