PURPOSE:To heighten the efficiency and velocity of action of the piston of an engine reciprocated by a pressurized fluid, make an electricity generator compact and enhance its performance, by communicating the spring pressure backward movement chamber of the piston with a pressurized gas exhaust chamber. CONSTITUTION:A piston 2 is moved forward by a pressurized fluid and moved backward by a spring 12 synchronously with a change-over valve 11. The spring pressure backward movement chamber 9 of the piston 2 is communicated with a pressurized fluid discharge chamber 17 through a communication hole 35 so that the fluid in the backward movement chamber 9 of decreasing volume is let to escape into the discharge chamber 17 of increasing volume through the communication hole 35 when the piston is moved forward and that the fluid in the discharge chamber 17 of decreasing volume is let to escape into the backward movement chamber 9 of increasing volume when the piston 2 is moved backward. This results in reducing back pressure on the piston 2 and a valve change-over member 25, heightening the efficiency and velocity of action of the piston, making an engine compact and enhancing its performance. |
