PURPOSE:To easily obtain a printing plate having an imaging resin layer of a thick film without requiring any complicated process, by warming a photosensitive resin becomes soft and sticky on warming but being solid at room temperature and allowing resin to intrude into a screen under reduced pressure to stick and fix it to the screen. CONSTITUTION:A butadiene type photosensitive resin, such as crystalline 1,2-polybutadiene, or an acid anhydride adduct of 1,2-polybutadiene becoming soft and sticky at 5-80 deg.C and deformable under a pressure as strong as reduced pressure suction is used, and composition 2 containing this resin, photosensitizer, photocrosslinking agent, etc. is coated on transparent support 1, such as polyethylene terephthalate and dried to form a photosensitive resin plate. This plate is warmed and made sticky on its surface, screen 3 consisting of warp 3a and weft 3b is stretched with frame 4, and placed on pedestal 6 interposing release cover film 5, and the warmed plate is placed on screen 3. Positive original 7 is placed on support 1, sheet 8 for use in vacuum operation is covered on original 7, the pressure under sheet 8 is reduced by suction, and thus resin 2 is allowed to intrude into screen 3. Then, resin 2 is irradiated by ultraviolet rays in the arrow direction, and the exposed part is hardened. |
