PURPOSE:To obtain excellent reproduction picture, by providing the rotating member performing rotation at the same time when the revolution is made through the provision of two magnetic heads, and giving the drive power changed specifically in the same period as the rotating period to the tracking control drive mechanism driving it. CONSTITUTION:Two magnetic heads are fitted to the rotating member 15 which rotates unifiedly with the rotating drum 5 and is rotatable. The tracking control signal generating ciricuit 28 driving this rotating member 15 produces the triangle wave based on the rectangular pulse fed from FF36 and generates the tracking control drive signal in the same period as the rotating period, and gives them to the driving coil 22. In case of tracking control of open loop, based on the time location of control pulse reproduced at the control head 33, the control signal is fed. Thus, even at the reproduction of trick play reproduction, the excellent reproducing picture without noise bar can be obtained. |
