The invention relates to a process for manufacturing poles, preferably wooden power line poles, using elongated joined-together wooden elements. The novelty lies in the steps of placing right-angled, square-cut first wooden elements A1 of the same length as the intended pole length adjacent to one another in circular form, with the corners of the elements tangential or almost tangential to one another at one end but spaced apart at the other end; by the division of additional right-angled, square-cut elongated elements A2 of equal length along a plane P which, on the one hand, is orientated at the same angle to the sides of the element as the angle between the elements placed in circular form and, on the other hand, forms an angle to the longitudinal direction of the additional element, fitting the elements A2, A2'', which are obtained after the division and which are wedge-shaped both in the transverse direction and in the longitudinal direction, into the interspace between the first elements A1; and of joining together, by gluing, all the elements and element parts to form a unit. <IMAGE> |
