PURPOSE:To fix the tubes effectively and efficiently without cutting the fins on the tubes by fitting comb-shaped support plates in the clearances between each of the fins of the finned tubes used in a heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:Comb-shaped support plates 8 are inserted into the clearances between the fins of finned tubes 1, and the assembly is supported and fixed continuously and integrally by the combination with support beams 4, liner plates 5, a support case 6 and the like. Since the comb-shaped support plates 8 can be obtained from thin plate, they are highly flexible, the supporting points for the tubes can be selected and located optionally, and the number of the support plates used can be selected arbitrarily. Accordingly, the finned tubes can be supported and fixed effectively and efficiently. |
