PURPOSE:To ensure a release via the initial program for the resetting device of the multi-computer device for vehicles which incorporates several units of the electronic computers, by resetting the computers when the input of the faulty computer changes from the L level to the H level. CONSTITUTION:If the electronic computer 20 has some faulty working, the rise time duration becomes longer than the normal value for the monitor signal WAT2 which is supplied to the electronic computer 10. This change of the signal is decided through the fault deciding circuit 26 that the count value of the counter 24 exceeds the reference value set by the setting unit 25. And the output changes to the H level from the L level and then returns to the L level after a fixed time. Thus the output of the inverter 17 changes to the L level from the H level and then returns to the H level, and the output of the AND circuit 16 has the same change. Accordingly, the resetting is applied to the computer 20 like the power source making unit and when the output of the circuit 16 changes to the H level from the L level. And thus the faulty working of the computer 20 is released by the initialization to be applied to the initial program. |
