PURPOSE:To expand the extent of utilization, by providing a comment information selection setting means with a condition inhibiting comment information selection so as to prohibit an indication means from indicating the comment information at an alarm-sounding time set to the nonselection condition. CONSTITUTION:A watch 10 is provided with a function to memorize and indicate message-expressing comment information into an ROM81, an alarm counter 6 to set alarm-sounding time and a step to select comment information in accordance with an alarm-sounding time as well as a watch counter 3 which is to indicate the ordinary time information, and the operation is conducted by controlling a control unit 8 by signals from these circuits. At this time, by providing the comment information selecting step with an inhibiting selection condition, an indication of comment information on an indicator 5 is prohibited at an alarm-sounding time set to the nonselection condition. Accordingly, it is possible for the watch to be operated in the same manner as the conventional watch when it is set to the nonselection condition, and thereby its value of utilization is improved. |
