The lace or similarly patterned fabric is produced on a shuttle embroidery machine, operating on sewing machine lines, where the lower thread is a polyamide up to 400 denier, with a melting point up to 130 degrees C. The presence of a thermoplastic thread on the reverse side allows heat bonding when attaching the lace to a garment or other carrier fabric surface.
