<p>Monoazo basic dyes (in which each R1 is n alkyl radical and may be the same or different and may be substd; or 2 or 3 of the R1s, together with the quaternised N atom or one R1 together with Y, R7, the N atom bound to R7 and the quaternised N atom form a (un)satd. heterocyclic ring system; R7 is an alkyl radical; R9 is Cl or Br, R11 is -CO-alkyl, alkyl sulphonyl or mono- or dialkylamino sulphonyl radical, one of R12 and R13 is Cl or Br and the other is H; R18 = H, Cl, Br or an alkyl radical; Y is (un)substd. alkylene radical and X- is an anion). The dyes may be used for dyeing/padding/printing polyacrylonitrile or acrylonitrile copolymer fibres or filaments or textile materials in other forms contng. such fibres or, when made sparingly soluble by conversion into lakes, for use in pigmenting cellulose acetate and polyacrylonitrile fibres.</p> |
