PURPOSE:To roughly fix the taken-out signals of the image, by providing two polarizing plates, at least one of which is rotatable, an image pickup element which is designed capable to putting out at a prescribed timing an incoming light passing through the polarizing plates, and a circuit designed to control the timing to take out the image pickup signals. CONSTITUTION:A transmitted light whose polarization surface selection was done by a dome 2 is given a large or small amount of light in synchronization with the rotation of a gyro-rotor 7 as a result of the second polarization surface selection by the polarizing plate 3, and then, the image is formed by a lens 4 on the light-receiving surface of a CCD image sensor 8. The image signal which was taken out from the CCD image sensor 8 is processed by a gate 19 to remove an unnecessary section, that is, a wave A, and then sent out as the image signal to a connecting plug 25, and at the same time, it is led to a peak detector 20. The peak detector 20 holds samples of peak values of the image signals every time they are taken out, and they are put out. At this time, the peak values are controlled by the peak detector 20 and a comparator 21, etc. to maintain a constant value. |
