<p>PURPOSE: To provide a strong roof truss allowing effective use of space by providing cross-beam structural members orthogonally and laterally on three-way inclined beams erected from the positions of ridge end portions, butting and joining gable-side and flat-side cross-beam structural members together, and interposing cleat structural members between the upper and lower cross-beam structural members. CONSTITUTION: Three-way inclined beams 3, 4, 5 are erected downward from the end position of a purlin 2, and a number of cross-beam structural members 10, 11 are laterally provided on the upper surfaces of the inclined beams 3, 4, 5 with predetermined vertical intervals between the members 10, 11 in such a manner that the members 10, 11 orthogonally intersect the inclined beams 3, 4, 5. The gable-side cross- beam structural member 10 and the flat-side cross-beam structural member 11 are joined at right angles to each other with their respective inclined end faces butted and joined together, and longitudinal cleat structural members 13 are interposed between the upper and lower cross-beam structural members 10, 11 with predetermined intervals between the members 13. Therefore, living or storage space can be effectively secured inside a hip roof without using partitions, and since a roof truss 1 is integrated, loads can be effectively distributed to a building structure.</p> |
