PURPOSE:To form the corrugate at only the middle part of the web of the H- shaped steel, and to improve the working efficiency for forming the corrugate, by arranging a pair of rolls possenssing the wave type protuberance and hollow at the middle part between the grooves, so as to bite each other from upside and downside of the web through the flange of the H-shaped steel. CONSTITUTION:The wave type protuberance and hollow 22 in the breadth equal to the breadth C of the corrugate to be formed in the H-beam are formed in the surface of the roll 2 at the middle part between the grooves 21, 21, corresponding to the web in the span H of the finished H-shaped steel 1. Next, the rolls 2 are made to bite the web from upside and downside through the flange 3 of the H-shaped steel 1, in order to form the corrugate. Hereby, the corrugate forming work can be applied to all length of the web with the exception of the straight parts on both ends of the web of the H-shaped steel 1 without giving any harmful influence to the connecting part between the flange and the web. |
