摘要 <p>The flow velocity in high speed flow fields is determined by a contactless process, using laser light for illuminating particles, introduced into the flow field, under different motion conditions. The light dispersed by the particles is recorded. The particles are illuminated by a train of laser light pulses of known time intervals, generated by an electronic quality control of the laser. Pref. a pocket cell is used for the laser control. A solid state laser may be used, and its pulsed beam may be fanned out in a beam plane which may irradiate the measuring plane in an intersecting manner. During the quality control, at least one pulse in the train may obtain a different intensity. The time interval of the pulse train may be calibrated. A solid-state laser stroboscope is used in the process, whose pulses are transmitted into the measuring region by beam light guides.</p>
