<p>The sync. motor has double stator and coaxial stator coils. The stator's pole teeth or pole tags are arranged cyclically. The two stators have their pole tag rings on the side of the coil that faces the rotor. When the motor is excited, its rotor is acted on by the multiple rotating field from both stators. Since the pole tag rings are arranged cyclically in terms of the rotating field, the rotor rotates in the same directions as their cyclic order. The motor may be used in timepieces.</p> |
