The arrangement (10) is intended for securing a metal anchoring bolt (5) in a bore (1) in a wall (2) by an axially slotted (6) one or two-part sleeve (7,7a) expanded by a cone (3) at the end of the bolt. The bolt has an axial bore with internal screw thread (4) and the securing tool (10) comprises a shank (9) with a threaded end (8) which fits this bore. The upper end of the shank has a bore with an internal hexagon (13) and carries an axial bearing (12). This bears down on the projecting end of the sleeve as the bolt is pulled outwards by rotation of the shaft, so that the cone expands the sleeve (7a).
