<p>The ski includes a mechanical climbing aid in the form of a brake against slipping backwards. This consists of the main part of the ski, in its lengthwise direction, near the ski binding, having at least one, sawtoothed runner which can be retracted or extended. The steeper sides of the saw teeth are situated on the side behind the direction of travel. Each side of the ski has a runner which has an L-shaped component as support on the ski surface, and which is pivot mounted on a horizontal crosswise axis. The crosswise axis is mounted in a holder.</p> |
