A fixing shoe is engaged by a rod, in a closable mounting and holding mechanism for bolts on large doors, blocking bars, or similar. The rod is in two parts, comprising a threaded bar with a support foot and a tube above this with threaded nut for the rod. The shoe incorporates a recess, on which the support foot is held in place. The bottom of the tube may have a support plate fitted to it, seated on the shoe, while the foot can have a plate, with guide socket fastened to the threaded bar, which, like the nut, can have a trapezoid thread. This permits simple and reliable bolting action.
|
