<p>The control console has a detachable keyboard (5) and a main unit (1). The main unit contains a display screen and other controls not on the keyboard. The latter is flat and can be attached to the main unit in either of two orthogonal positions: at right angles to the display screen so that the console acts as a desk-top device, or coplanar with the display screen and projecting from one edge so that the console acts a unit standing on its own at which an operator may sit or stand. When the console is a standing device, the display screen is horizontal, whilst when a desk-top device it is vertical. The two positions are permitted by using 3 retaining bolts on each side of the lower front edge of the main unit.</p> |
