<p>A workpiece is only made accessible for a thermal energy source via free apertures which are housed in an auxiliary tool in the immediate vicinity of the workpiece,whilst the energy is simultaneously distributed over the appropriate aperture area. Method may be used for perforating thin plastics or metal sheets using e.g., a laser beam.</p> |
