<p>The charging instrument is intended particularly for miniature batteries, which are used in hearing aids, etc. The charger is not supplied from a fixed power source such as the mains. The charger is supplied with power from batteries which can be replaced when worn out. There is an electronic constant current circuit in the charger between the battery supply and the battery to be charged. There is also an indicator to check the conditions of the supply battery. The main components, the accumulator (1), charging batteries (2) current stabiliser (4) and indicator (5) are all housed in a single long cylindrical envelope.</p> |
