PURPOSE:To make the granulation of the titled feed easy, by inoculating fibrous straws heat-treated with NaOH with a bacterium which decomposes cellulose and Basillus natto. CONSTITUTION:Fibrous straws which are ground by the grinding process 1 to have a sectional diameter 12-65 mesh and length 5-20mm. are fed to the pretreating process 2. They are dipped in an NaOH aqueous solution at 80-100 deg.C, heat-treated, washed (3), and pressed to have a water content 10-20wt%. They are then sterilized under pressure, fed to the fermentation process 4, inoculated with a bacterium which decomposes cellulose and Bacillus natto, fermented aerobically under heating so that the straws are attached each other to give a pellet shaped matter having particle diameters 5-30mm.. The pellets are fed to the drying process 5 and dried at 70-90 deg.C to give a pellet shaped coarse feed. |
