PURPOSE:To eliminate development of scratches when a base board is shaped and obtain a picture of high brightness with clear contrast, by using an alumina porcelain, the surface of which is machined through grinding, as the base board and laminating layers of fluorescent material, insulating material and photoelectric material onto said surface. CONSTITUTION:Onto the surface of a base board 1 made of alumina porcelain ground and shaped in such a manner as to obtain protrusively constitutional particles 3 from the surface in a diameter of several mu-several tens of mu after a completion of firing formed into a desired shape, a fluorescent material layer 5, insulating layer 7 and a photoelectric material layer 9 are laminated. For instance, on the base board 1 of a curved surface, in which a fired and formed alumina porcelain is ground and shaped in such a manner as to obtain its surface protruding parts 3 in a diameter of 5-10mu, an alkali metal halogenide is vacuum evaporated to cause the growth of crystallization of the pillar-shaped bodies 5 in thickness 80-150mu separated from each other through fine clearances 11. Then an SiO is vacuum evaporated to form the insulating layer 7 in thickness 0.1-1mu, further on top of that the photoelectric material layer 9 of Cs3Sb is evaporation formed. |
