A process for dyeing and tanning pelts in a single bath, wherein these materials, which can be fat-liquored before-hand, are (a) dyed with at least one anionic dye and simultaneously pickled, and (b) tanned with at least one tannin, at a temperature in the range from 158 to 458C and in an aqueous liquor which has been adjusted to a pH value of 1 to 4.</p> |
