PURPOSE:To obtain the titled carrier particle showing superior chargeability in toner friction chraging by covering a core substance with resin contg. vinylsilane having a peroxy group, in the molecule, which forms a free radical by heat treatment and by heat treating the covered substance. CONSTITUTION:A granulated core substance such as silicon or iron is covered with resin contg. about 0.01-10wt% vinylsilane such as vinyltris(t-butylperoxy) silane, divinylbis(t-butylperoxy)silane or vinylmethoxybis(t-butylperoxy)silane having at least one peroxy groups, in the molecule, which is decomposed by heat treatment to form a free radical. The covered substance is then heat treated at a bout 100-200 deg.C for abound 5-120 min to obtain the descred carrier for particles static charge image development. |
