<p>1. An adhesive based on polyvinyl alcohol, characterized in that the adhesive consists of a mixture of a) 4 to 30 weight % of polyvinyl alcohol having an ester number of from 0 to 273 mg KOH/g, the 4 weight % aqueous solution of which has a viscosity of from 2.5 to 100 mPa.s at 20 degrees C, b) 65 to 94 weight % of water, c) 0.5 to 5 weight % of polymethacrylic acid and d) 0.5 to 2.0 weight % of urea, glucose or a polyglycol and optionally e) 1 to 20 weight % of a usual adhesion promoter.</p> |
