<p>In this iron with a grip (47) and a grip stay (42), there is in a sole plate (48) a heating coil (1) with a triac (2) as a power switch which is switched by an electronic temperature controller (9). To improve the operability and usefulness of the iron, the triac (2) is arranged, separately from the switching elements of the temperature controller (9), on the side facing away from the iron tip (480), in a sealed cavity (41) which is an integral part of a cable winding device (46) with a storage surface (43), and for the switching of its power passages is connected to an IC (10), the control inputs (105, 24) of which, together with those of an indicator device (31) with optical and/or acoustic indicator elements (27,28,29), are connected jointly to the centre tap (17) of a controller voltage divider (16). <IMAGE></p> |
