PURPOSE:To directly display the horizontal and vertical distance corresponding to various scannings, by modulating the sinusoidal wave of the same frequency and different in the phase by 90 deg. with a sawtooth wave, deflecting one signal, at least, with the variable phase unit, and performing the horizontal and vertical distance display to the cathode ray tube at both the outputs via the operation circuit and the variable amplifier circuit. CONSTITUTION:In the horizontal, full and semicircle scanning of sonar, for example, as to the full circle scanning, the sinusoidal wave form the oscillator 1, and that shifting the phase by 90 deg. at the phase unit 8 are modulated with the sawtooth wave in the ramp wave generating circuit 3 at the modulators 2, 2'. The switching circuit 14 is switched to the horizontal wave display of the full circle frequency scanning. The tilt angle theta is set with the tilt angle set circuit 6, the operation circuit 5 operates the numeral of costheta to multiply the amplification factor of the variable amplifiers 4, 4' with costheta of the maximum value, the amount of phase shift of the variable phase unit is taken to 0, it is input to the deflection coil via the deflection amplifiers 12, 12', and horizontal distance is displayed on CRT. In other case, the horizontal or vertical distance can directly be displayed. |
