PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts by simplifying the structure of the adjusting mechanism for the angle of inclination to be set variably. CONSTITUTION:A seat frame 1 and a seat back 7 are installed through a supporting arm 6, and supported pivotally onto a supporting member 4 through a bracket 3 and a pin 2. The frontal end part of the frame 1 and the frontal end part of the member 4 are connected by a variable connecting element 14, and an engaging means 17 is operated through the operation of a handle 13. The handle is operated, while the seat back 7 is inclined rearward, and when the desired inclination angle is obtained, the handle is released, and the stopping means is engaged, and the seat frame 1 is fixed at the desired inclination angle. |
