PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts as well as manhours in assembly process by providing the main members with U-notches at appropriate intervals in the longitudinal direction and fitting, in these notches, cross members with lengths equal to the width of the rear body. CONSTITUTION:U-notches 2 are cut in the pair of main members 1 at appropriate intervals in the longitudinal direction. In these notches 2, cross members 3 having a U-shaped profile are fitted, where the joints of the main members 1 with outer faces of the cross members 3 are welded to form a solid framing. This structure with width equal to that of the rear body will reduce the manhours in assembly process, which should lead to costdowm. |
