Said axle has a free-wheel which preferably works in both directions and permits the vehicle to be driven in both directions. The free-wheel is arranged in the wheel hub (56) of a rear wheel (11). It allows the otherwise required connecting element between frame (12) and free-wheel to be dispensed with. Together with additional projections (24, 26), the existing bearing sleeve (21) takes over the securing of the control sleeve (28) of the free-wheel. By this means, the manufacturing and assembly effort is considerably reduced.
